| Mr. Jonathon Levy |

Mr.
Jonathon Levy graduated early from high school to pursue a successful career in
the Performing Arts. He has performed and taught dance for over 20 years. He
danced with 5 major American
professional ballet companies and was a Guest Artist with over 30 professional performing arts
organizations around the world.
Mr. Jonathon has had students accepted to University
dance degree programs in Illinois, Michigan, Iowa, and Oklahoma as well as to
professional programs, companies and schools, such as The National Ballet School of Canada, Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Columbus Metropolitan Ballet, North Carolina School
of the Arts, Ballet Austin, Orlando Ballet, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet
and others, including a current soloist for the Saint Louis Ballet.
Mr. Jonathon was Principal-Soloist at Ballet Dallas for over four seasons; he
was a Soloist with Ballet Oklahoma
(including appearances with Edward Villella & Dancers in NYC, on tour in
Santa Fe and on PBS), Ballet Arizona
and Chicago City Ballet. He also
danced a season with California Ballet
and in the North American tour with Kathy
Thibodeaux, IBC Silver Medalist (IBC: International Ballet
Competition is one of the elite ballet events in the world).
Mr. Jonathon danced on scholarship at Hubbard Street Dance Company, the Ruth Page Foundation School of Dance, the
Harkness Ballet Center, & the original Joffrey School in New York City.
He
Apprenticed with Milwaukee Ballet
and was a dancer with the original Pittsburgh
Ballet Theatre II.
Mr. Jonathon performed and appeared with such
personalities as Luciano Pavarotti,
pianist Morton Gould, Fernando Bujones, Mariana Tcherkassy, Yuri Simenov,
and many others. He was a featured
soloist in the IBM-sponsored PBS documentary The Dance with Edward Villella. He also appeared with Lynn Swan of the NFL on
the PBS children's program Mr. Roger's Neighborhood.
Mr. Jonathon was a Guest Ballet Master for
the Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Company and
Jazz Dance Center in Chicago, and served as the Ballet Master in charge of Artistic Direction for The School of
Performing Arts in Naperville/ Chicago. He founded and directed The Centre for Human Arts Instruction
in Chicago's western suburb of Aurora, and was the Ballet Master for Bat Dor Dance Company- the National Contemporary
Ballet of Israel in Tel Aviv. He also worked for 2 years with Rosine Bena in
the mid 1990’s during the formation of what is now ARTown in Reno, Nevada, as a professional dancer in Ballet by the River.
Mr.
Jonathon served as a Professor of Dance
at Northern Arizona University's College of Fine & Performing Arts, and
has been a Guest Instructor at many colleges, universities, and professional
schools, such as Oklahoma University's
Dance Department, the School of Ballet Arizona, Dallas Conservatory of Dance
and many others.
